Addendum to the rules:
1. Bats must be stamped “A.S.A. approved” and not on their banned list. (determined by umpire)
2. It is the chairperson’s responsibility to be aware of their own
town’s events that will affect the league’s schedule. Every effort should be made to access this information prior to the making of the schedule.
3. PRE-SCHEDULE CHANGES ARE NOT ALLOWED!!!! WE DO REALIZE THAT SOME DATES MIGHT BE INCONVENIANT AND ACCOMODATIONS WILL BE MADE SPARINGLY. Once the schedule has been made chair people will make available to their coaches. Coaches will have 3 days to respond to their chairperson with conflicts in the schedule. Once the conflicts are reported and approved by their chairperson, the coach with conflict, must present three alternate dates for reschedule of conflicting game. Opposing coach must respond within 3 days.
This rule should address all pre-schedule changes and should be referred to as such. This whole process should take no longer than 7 days.
If common ground cannot be met then the chair people must decide on reschedule dates. If common ground cannot be met: THEN NO CHANGE.
ALL RESCHEDULES WILL BE HANDELED BY COMMISSIONER (CHAIRPERSON)
4. Through the season, ONLY SCHOOL OR TOWN SPONSERED EVENTS AND RAINOUTS WILL BE ACCEPTED AS REASONS FOR RESCHEDULING.
The canceling team(IF HOME) must contact opposing team within 2 days with a choice of three make-up dates. Opposing team(IF VISITOR) must respond within 3 days.
The canceling team(IF VISITOR) must receive three alternate
Make-up dates from opposing coach(HOME)within 2days,
And must respond within 3 days.

If offered alternatives conflicts with league schedule an additional date must be provided within 2 days.
If common ground cannot be met within 5 days, then the chairpersons must get involved.
5. GRIEVANCES…any grievance, (such as requests for reschedules, make-up games that can not be resolved, or any other issue not covered by our league rules) will be handled by a committee consisting of authorized representatives of the five towns. A neutral town will chair the meeting and their decision will be binding.
6. Coaches can file a protest before an umpire leaves the field of play after a game. Once the protest is filed with the league a meeting with the umpires and league officials will take place. In the event the ruling by the umpires is overuled, play will begin from the point of the dispute and the game will continue on at the umpires expense. In the event the ruling of the umpires stands a $50 protest fee will be assigned to the team executing the protest.
7. If a coach is ejected from a game by an ASA umpire he will then have a mandatory one game suspension.
8. The 12 run rule after 4 innings will be for all divisions.
9. Reschedule Rain Outs: The HOME TEAM will contact the opposing coach within TWO days with three dates to play. These three dates have to be within 1 week of the rained out date (the three potential dates can not be on a day team is already scheduled) and can also be played in a different town if fields are already taken. The opposing team 2 days to respond and agree to a date. If the opposing team can not agree to one of the three dates it will go to the two commissioners of each town and points will be awarded. The team who couldn't agree to any of the dates will get 0 points and the home team who tried to get the game in will get 2 points. 10. Play-off format will be standard. Top teams get a bye. After that 2nd plays last, 3rd plays second to last so on...
